I have a Delonghi Pinguino EL98 air conditioner. Fan mode is ok, but when AC is used and compressor kicks in, it emits a very high pitched whirring sound which makes it unusable. I have taken off both sides and can see the centrifugal fan/blower housing appears slightly unseated and wobbles around causing the noise, but the unit is sealed. Need someone who can open it up and tighten it/fix the issue.

I have a GoodHome Takoma 4500 BTU portable air conditioner that has developed a fan issue. The unit powers on but the fan motor has stopped blowing air out entirely (even in "Fan Only" mode). After running through basic troubleshooting and clearing the filter, I suspect it needs a new fan start capacitor or fan motor. Could you let me know if this is something you can inspect and repair, and what your diagnostic/repair fees look like?

The unit is not cooling. It is a Daikin Altherma air-sourced low temperature heat pump system. It is not a monobloc unit but a refrigerant split system with a hydrobox installed inside the flat. It needs servicing / fixing. Engineer will need to have knowledge in refrigeration, electronics, plumbing, and heat pump systems in order to properly diagnose and work on the equipment.
