I am looking for a reliable handyman or flooring fitter to carry out the following work: • Remove existing toilet and install replacement toilet • Fit new flooring in a small toilet/bathroom (flooring supplied) • Fit new flooring in a very small corridor/hallway (flooring supplied) All flooring materials are already provided. I would like a consultation before we proceed with the job. I prefer not to post photos publicly. I need a skilled carpenter to repair a damaged timber door frame and hang a new solid oak fire door. The door is heavy (42kg), so I am looking for someone with the appropriate tools and experience. Scope of Work: 1. Remove and dispose of old door 2. Structural Frame Repair: The current timber jamb is badly splintered at the strike points as a result of a locksmith needing to use force to break in (see photos). Needs a professional repair so the frame is structurally sound again. 3. Door Hanging: Hang a new Victorian 4-Panel Oak FD30 Fire Door (1981mm x 838mm x 44mm). Trim as needed - the floor is uneven and will need some trimming, and likely a timber threshold strip fitted to manage the gap on the high side. The door has 20mm solid oak lippings to accommodate this. 4. Hardware Installation: - Install 3x Grade 13 hinges - Consolidate Locks: Remove three existing locks from the old setup. Re-install only ONE insurance-approved ERA BS3621 5-Lever Sashlock and its matching strike plate (pictured) into the repaired frame. - Install new lever handles (57mm centers). 5. Finishing: Ensure the 44mm door sits flush in the 46mm frame rebate. Patch/fill the old lock holes in the frame so it is ready for sanding/painting. Materials Provided: - Solid Oak Fire Door (42kg) - 1981mm X 838mm X 44mm - 3x Grade 13 Ball Bearing Hinges - Heritage Brass Lever Handles. - Existing ERA BS3621 Sashlock & Strike Plate (pictured) Tasker Requirements: - Must provide own professional tools - Must provide timber, professional wood glue etc for the frame repair. - Experience with heavy solid-core doors Photos: Please see attached for the current frame damage and the hardware being reused.

Looking for an experienced handyman to: - Repair and make good several holes in a plasterboard wall from a previous wardrobe installation. > Includes removing any remaining fixings/anchors. > Largest hole is approximately fist-sized, with several others around 3–4 cm wide. > No painting required. > Wall just needs to be repaired, filled, sanded smooth, and made good as it will be hidden behind the wardrobe. - Assemble and install an IKEA PAX wardrobe in an alcove and secure it safely to the wall. - Remove a section of skirting board on the right-hand side of the alcove as required to allow the wardrobe to fit correctly. Please bring any tools and materials required for the plasterboard repairs and installation.
