We need the existing hob replaced following an EICR issue, as the circuit is currently tripping the fuse. We don’t know for certain whether the hob itself is causing the problem, but as it is quite old, we have decided to replace it. We need an electrician to install, connect and fully test the new hob, and also check the circuit to identify whether there are any other issues. I’m looking for an experienced electrician/light-fitting specialist to install a 7-pendant chandelier weighing approximately 10 kg in my living room. The ceiling is slightly higher than the height of a standard London ceiling, so the job will require safe access equipment such as a suitable tall ladder or scaffold tower. The job includes: * Safely accessing the high ceiling. * Removing the existing light fitting, if required. * Installing and securely fixing the 10 kg chandelier. * Connecting it to the existing electrical wiring. * Ensuring the ceiling fixing/support is strong enough to safely carry the chandelier’s weight. * Adjusting the chain/hanging height as required. * Making sure the chandelier is level and securely mounted. * Testing the light once installed. The chandelier is already purchased and ready to fit. Photo of the chandelier is attached to the task. Important: Due to the height of the ceiling and the 10 kg weight of the chandelier, please only apply if you have the appropriate experience and equipment to carry out the installation safely.
