I’m looking for an experienced plumber to fix three issues in my flat: 1. Radiator valve: The radiator is stuck on full heat and the valve won’t turn to switch it off. The flat has communal heating, so the radiator can only be controlled via its individual valve. The valve also shows signs of corrosion. 2. Kitchen sink: The kitchen sink is leaking and needs to be inspected and repaired. 3. Shower: The shower is also leaking and needs to be inspected and fixed. Ideally, I’d like someone who can assess all three issues and carry out the necessary repairs in one visit. Please bring the appropriate tools and let me know if any replacement parts are likely to be needed. Please quote for labour and any additional parts separately. Experience with communal heating systems would be a plus. Location: St John’s Wood, NW8, London.

We have a Mira Escape electric shower that is broken and needs replacing. We don't think we need it's replacement to be an electric shower but need a plumber to assess and advise. If it must be electric again, simple enough. If a regular shower is possible, want to know comparative cost as it would involve running a hot water pipe up from the bath below, and some re-tiling probably. Initial task is to visit and quote. We expect to then use the same person to do the work so please accept only if you could do either option. Victorian conversion flat with a combi boiler, gravity system was removed. £10 is just a token, I expect you to suggest a price! The real value is the job itself not the visit for a quote, which might often be free. We fully intend to undertake the work one way or the other, the shower is near useless at the moment.
