Looking for an experienced bathroom installer or glass specialist to help source and install a narrow shower screen. The screen will be approx. 25–30 cm wide and run floor to ceiling. One side fixes to a wall that has a tile-to-wall transition partway up (approx. 1.5 cm step), so this is not a completely flat surface. We need someone who can advise on the best solution, help us choose and order the correct materials, and then complete a clean, professional installation. Important: please explain how you would handle the tile step (for example U-channel, trim solution, or custom-cut glass). We want a clean, intentional finish, not something that looks patched or filled. This task is for labour only. We will pay separately for materials, but would like you to recommend what to purchase and either provide a receipt or invoice for reimbursement. Requirements: proven experience installing shower screens or bathroom glass, confidence working with uneven surfaces, and ability to deliver a high-quality finish. Looking for someone reliable who can fully complete the job (including advice and installation), not partial work. Please clarify if you have done similar work before.

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced handyman, plumber or bathroom fitter to help modernise my bathroom. This is not a full renovation—I’m looking to update the existing fixtures and give the bathroom a clean, modern matte black finish. The work includes: * Replacing my existing electric shower with a matte black electric shower (if compatible). * Replacing the shower head and hose with matte black ones. * Replacing the basin tap with a matte black tap. * Replacing the bath taps with matte black taps (if compatible). * Installing matte black bathroom accessories such as a towel rail, toilet roll holder and other matching fittings. * Boxing in or covering the exposed pipework under the sink with a neat vanity unit or similar solution. * Removing old silicone and applying fresh white silicone around the bath if needed. * Carrying out any small finishing touches to give the bathroom a modern, high-end look. I am renting the property, so I don’t want any major plumbing, electrical work or changes to the layout. I will provide the fixtures and fittings, but I’m happy to take recommendations if there are more suitable or compatible products.

Diagnose and fix high-end home cinema (Epson projector, Sony Bravia Theatre Quad, motorised screen) Recently installed home cinema requiring fault finding before Saturday evening. Equipment: * Epson EH-LS12000 projector * Sony Bravia Theatre Quad * Apple TV 4K * Sapphire motorised projector screen Issues: * Apple TV audio works through the Sony system but there is no picture on the projector. * Direct Apple TV to projector connection works. * Motorised screen does not stop correctly when lowering and likely needs adjustment. Looking for someone experienced with HDMI troubleshooting, projectors, AV receivers/processors and motorised projection screens. This is not a TV mounting job.
