Handyman needed for a furnished studio near Russell Square. Main work: - Measure, supply and fit frosted privacy film to the studio window. Agree the coverage line before fitting; the finish must be straight, neat and bubble-free, without blocking trickle vents or interfering with the frame or blind. - Secure the electric blind battery pack with self-adhesive Velcro while keeping charging access. - Replace a B22 LED bulb (9W, 806 lm, 4000K), inspect the shade and holder, and refit the shade securely. Stop and report if the holder or wiring needs a qualified electrician. - Inspect and renew defective shower and basin silicone; check peeling paint beside the shower for moisture or failed seals, then make good and repaint after drying. - Cap a redundant hole inside the mirrored bathroom cabinet if appropriate. - Inspect worn black coating on the shower controls, basin tap and towel rail, and quote a durable repair or replacement. - Make good and touch up marked or chipped kitchen and studio walls and skirting, including paint pulled away near the blind. - Check and locally restore the marked wooden windowsill if dry; report any ongoing moisture. Please include labour and routine consumables in your offer, itemise any specialist parts or return visit, and bring suitable tools. Please send before and after photos. A detailed defect brief and photos can be shared with the assigned Tasker.

Hi, I'd like to convert the bathroom floor at the property into a wet room using safety vinyl flooring (Altro, Polyflor or similar), not tiles. What I'm after: • Remove existing floor tiles and prepare/strengthen the subfloor (ply or wet-room board if needed) • Form a proper fall to a wet-room floor drain so the shower can be used without a tray • Check the waste pipe can handle the shower flow • Fit one continuous sheet of slip-resistant safety vinyl, heat-welded seams, coved up the walls with capping strip • Tank the lower walls, and the shower area full height • Upgrade the extractor fan

Hello Need a few jobs done at our warehouse unit. 1. re silicon 1m x 1.2m shower - remove silicone clean and redo 2. swap out bathroom fan - same model bought just need it replaced 3.Have a fitted doormat which keeps raising when its hot or gets sun shining on it - wont let door close properly 4.clean lens of camera about 7m high from ground 5. replace a cctv camera which is faulty with new one purchased - may need new mounting screws - again 7m high from ground job is in W3 free parking available need it done by end of day monday open 10am - 5pm so needs to be done in those hours Im looking for someone competent with tools that can do the jobs in a half day capacity - charge me half days labour. Looking for an experienced bathroom fitter/tiler to carry out some remedial and finishing work in a small bathroom. Main work required: • Remove the existing old wall tiles in the areas shown in the photos and dispose of them. This includes the walls around the bath/shower, and the tiled sections behind/around the basin and toilet. • Prepare the walls properly after tile removal and replace with simple clean white bathroom tiles. We are looking for decent, durable quality rather than expensive/premium tiles. • Grout the new wall tiling and properly silicone/seal around the bath and other wet-area junctions so everything is left watertight and neatly finished. • The existing tiled bathroom floor is staying underneath. Clean/prep and fill/re-grout/level the existing tile joints and any local uneven areas as necessary to provide a smooth, even surface suitable for laying vinyl/lino over it. • Lay the new lino/vinyl flooring. I already have the flooring material which we fitted downstairs. • Self-level the floor, remove existing bath mixer / shower fittings & install replacement bath taps/mixer & shower/showerhead. • Silicon / make good the areas worked on & leave bathroom clean and properly finished. The bath, basin and toilet (recent fittings) are all staying and do not need replacing. Please quote for itemised labour and materials for each part of the job. For the wall tiles, I am happy either to supply them myself or for you to supply suitable budget/mid-range plain white tiles, but please specify which your quote assumes. Please ensure your quote includes removal/disposal of the old tiles, wall preparation, adhesive, grout, silicone/sealant, trims and any waterproofing/tanking required in the bath/shower area. Photos show the current condition and the areas requiring work. Assuming a professional standard job completion, I may also have some additional small finishing/decorating jobs afterwards. Price given is for labour. Materials we can work out.
