I’m looking for a reliable handyman to help with a few small jobs: - My wall-mounted shower tower has come away from the wall and needs to be securely fixed back in place. - A couple of wall-mounted towel hooks/holders have pulled slightly away from the wall, taking some of the wall/plaster with them. They need to be repaired and securely reattached. - There is also a small dent/hole in the wall caused by a door opening into it, which needs filling and making good. The walls are relatively thin, so I’d like someone who knows the appropriate fixings for this type of wall and can make the repairs neatly. Flexible on timing. Ideally looking for someone experienced, careful and able to bring the necessary tools/materials.

*Approx 15 square metres* Protect existing fixtures, sanitaryware, flooring and adjacent areas. Remove loose material/debris and maintain good housekeeping. Make walls sound, flat, plumb and suitable for tiling. Repair defects and prime where required. Install MDF bath panel/surround ready for tiling. Install secure, rigid access boards/panels for plumbing/services. Coordinate panels with tile layout for a neat finish. Tank designated wet zones before tiling. Seal corners, junctions and all relevant pipe/service penetrations. Set out tiles for a balanced finish with consistent levels and joints. Tile all specified walls, bath panel and access boards. Cut neatly around plumbing outlets and penetrations. Install tile trims/edge profiles where required. Ensure adequate adhesive coverage and tile adhesion. Grout all tile joints with suitable wet-area grout. Silicone corners, bath-to-tile junctions, movement joints and penetrations. Install, level and securely fix shower screen. Seal perimeter and relevant junctions with sanitary-grade silicone. Completion Remove adhesive/grout residue and clean all tiled surfaces. I am looking for quotes for tiling and fully tanking for a wetroom referb in a ground-floor flat in SE14. First fix plumbing has been done. Pipe chases in walls will need filling before tilling. A concealed toilet cistern will also need to be boxed in. I will supply the tiles & tanking. You will need to supply basic materials, eg tile adhesive & grout. Walls are plastered brick - so can tile straight on to them. The bathroom is 2x2m, and I need all four walls and the floor, including the shower tray, tiled with 10x10cm tiles, so aprox 20sqm of tiling in total. I don't need this job starting for maybe two weeks.

Small amount of water coming through the light in the flat below under our bathroom, directly below our bath with built in shower. Image attached of the leak coming through the neighbours light. Bedroom wall – demolish & rebuild Remove an existing non-load-bearing stud/lath-and-plaster wall between two bedrooms and rebuild it approximately 0.5m further into one bedroom to make the adjoining room larger. New wall approx. 2m wide × 2m high, plus a short return/corner section approx. 0.5m. 2. Bathroom shower wall Build a new stud partition for a shower, approx. 2.3m high × 1.5m deep. 3. Concealed WC Build a small frame for a concealed WC/cistern, approx. 1m high × 400mm wide. 4. Four pocket doors Prepare/alter 4 existing internal door openings and construct the correct framing for pocket-door systems. Some existing walls are traditional Victorian lath-and-plaster and are non-load-bearing. Openings need to be correctly measured and framed square, plumb and level. We can supply the pocket-door kits separately if required. Please state in your offer: • Labour cost • Whether timber/fixings are included • Whether removal/disposal of debris is included • Whether fitting the pocket-door kits is included or framing only • Estimated number of days • Your experience with pocket doors/stud framing Ideally looking for one experienced carpenter to complete all the work together.
