I am looking for an experienced carpenter and/or painter (or team) to complete a high quality internal works package in a Redfern apartment. Finish quality and detailing are critical. The job includes supply and installation of doors as well as internal painting works. Scope of works includes Doors and joinery: • Supply four internal doors to suit existing openings • Professionally paint doors off site in Dulux Black Caviar • Paint existing door frames Dulux Black Caviar to match • Satin or low semi gloss enamel finish to doors and frames • Supply and install new black hinges • Install door handles supplied by me • Hang and align doors so they operate smoothly • Protect adjacent wallpaper, floors and walls during works Painting works: • Paint ceilings throughout the unit in Dulux Tranquil Retreat • Paint one medium sized bedroom ceiling • Paint one hallway wall • Paint one living room wall Important notes • Doors are located within a Canyon Clay Obsidian wallpapered wall • Adjacent art wall is Dulux Black Caviar in low sheen • Doors and frames must be painted prior to installation and fully cured • Clean, sharp junctions required between paint and wallpaper • All painting to be properly prepared, cut in cleanly, and finished to a high standard • Experience with dark colours and detailed interior work is essential Please include in your offer • Door type proposed (hollow core or solid core) • Paint system and products to be used • Whether doors will be sprayed or rolled • Proposed hinge type and finish • Confirmation of included prep and protection • Lead time from approval to completion • Examples of similar work if available Apartment is occupied. The base is already in place and level – this task is purely assembly and fixing the shed down. Shed details: • Brand: ABSCO Shed – “Fast Shed” • Size: 2.95 m (W) x 2.33 m (D) x 1.99 m (H) • New flat‑pack kit, all parts and instructions on site Scope of work: • Unpack kit and assemble wall, roof and door panels • Erect shed, ensure it is square, plumb and aligned on the slab • Secure shed to concrete (using suitable anchors/dynabolts) • Check doors open/close smoothly and latch correctly • Tidy up work area and stack / bin packaging What you’ll need: • Prior experience assembling ABSCO or similar metal garden sheds • Own tools: cordless drill/driver, masonry bits, rivet gun (if required), ladders, basic hand tools • Ability to work safely and protect surrounding areas Timing & budget: • Flexible on day/time but would like this completed soon • Budget around $280 for full assembly and anchoring; open to offers from experienced Taskers with strong reviews When you make an offer, please include: • A brief summary of your shed / flat‑pack assembly experience • A couple of preferred days/times you can do the job
