My kitchen sink has a partial blockage and is draining very slowly. I’ve detached the U-bend/trap and there’s no obvious blockage there, so I suspect the blockage is further along in the grey waste pipe running towards the exterior. I’ve already tried drain unblocker, but it hasn’t resolved the issue. I need someone to locate and clear the blockage and get the sink draining normally again. The pipe joins will need resealing afterwards — I already have silicone and a silicone gun available. Ideally looking for someone who can attend ASAP and has the appropriate equipment for clearing a partially blocked waste pipe. Thanks!

Our washing machine’s water inlet hose recently started spurting water, so we cut off the water supply and investigated. It appears that the hose has worn down over the years, with the internal section becoming warped. The water pressure then pushed against the distorted inside of the inlet hose and pushed part of the washer out, causing it to leak when the water is turned back on to the washing machine. We initially tried replacing the washer, but it seems the pipe itself needs to be replaced first. We already have the replacement pipe (the correct one from the original supplier) and simply need someone to install it. The main difficulty is that the washing machine is very heavy and needs to be pulled out from where it is to access one end of the pipe. Unfortunately, despite there being two of us, we’re unable to move it ourselves! Someone comfortable with heavy lifting and moving fitted appliances from their spaces would be essential. Once the washing machine is moved, replacing the pipe should be relatively straightforward. We believe we have bought the correct length, as the washing machine is right next to the sink and pipes, but there’s a possibility that this may not be the case once the machine is pulled out and we can properly access everything. For someone in the know, this should take no more than 1 hour. This task will need to be done on Monday 24th August anytime between 9:30am and 6pm, near East Dulwich Station. There is no parking at the flat, but there is some street parking and a large Sainbury's car park across the street.

Looking for one experienced person/team to complete a kitchen refresh. 1. Cupboard & drawer wrapping - Vinyl wrap all visible cupboard doors, drawer fronts and relevant side/end panels (internal cupboards do not need any work doing) - Surfaces to be properly cleaned and prepared beforehand. - Professional finish with neat edges/corners and no bubbling or lifting. - Note some of the cupboards have already had the outer layer removed as shown in other pictures 2. Tile preparation & painting The kitchen tiles have previously been painted and are now chipped/peeling in places, so proper preparation is essential. - Sand down existing painted tiles and remove loose/flaking paint. - Thoroughly clean/degrease and prepare the surface. - Prime if required and repaint for a smooth, even and durable finish. - I do not want the existing chipped paint simply painted over. 3. Drawer repair One kitchen drawer is broken/not functioning correctly and needs assessing and repairing, including runners/fittings if required. Materials & equipment: I will supply the vinyl wrap and tile paint only. You will need to bring all tools and equipment required for sanding, preparation, wrapping and painting. Any additional consumables/materials (primer, filler, sandpaper, cleaning products, masking etc.) should be included in your quote or agreed with me beforehand. Any replacement drawer parts can be agreed separately if needed following investigation. Timing: The property is currently tenanted, so the exact date will need to be agreed with the tenants. Likely to be during September. Kitchen should be left clean and usable once completed. Please include: - Experience/photos of similar work of wrapping - Confirmation you can complete all 3 parts - Estimated time required to complete the job - September availability Many thanks :)
