Hi! I need a handyperson to install a lightweight PVC folding/accordion door in my studio flat to separate the kitchen from the living area and block out cooking smells. What Needs to be Done: 1. Cut the top track to the exact width of the door frame. 2. Secure the track into the top of the existing wooden door frame. 3. Hang the folding door panels. 4. Install the side channels and magnetic catch so it closes flush. 5. Trim the bottom of the door panels if necessary (please let me know if you have the tools for this). Current Setup (photos attached): • Standard wooden door frame. • No existing door hardware to remove. Materials: • I will supply the folding door kit in the box. • You will need to bring your own drill, appropriate screws, a hacksaw/trimming tool (for the track and potentially the plastic door panels), and a step ladder.

Hi! I need a skilled handyperson or electrician to help me with a two-part job for my kitchen. Currently, I don't have an extractor fan over my electric hob, and I need one installed. What Needs to be Done: 1. Consultation/Recommendation: First, I need you to look at my photos (or pop round if you are local) and tell me exactly which small extractor hood I should buy that will fit my space and comply with safety clearances. 2. Installation: Once I buy the extractor you recommend, I need you to come and install it. Current Setup (photos attached): • Electric induction hob. • Open cabinet and spice rack directly above the hob. Space is quite tight! • I am assuming it will need to be a recirculating (carbon filter) hood as there is no existing external ducting. • There is a plug socket to the right of the hob, but let me know how you plan to power it. Materials: • I will pay for and supply the extractor fan based on your specific recommendation. • You will need to bring the tools and any fixings/cables required to mount and power it safely. If you need to remove or modify the small spice rack to make it fit, please include this in your quote.

Hi there! I'm looking for an experienced plumber or skilled handyperson to replace my current kitchen sink and install a new setup that includes a water filter. Current Setup (photos attached): • Existing stainless steel sink. • Deck-mounted chrome mixer tap (the lever is currently broken). What Needs to be Done: 1. Isolate the water supply and safely disconnect/remove the existing sink, tap, and waste pipes. 2. Fit and secure the new kitchen sink, ensuring a watertight silicone seal around the edges. 3. Install the new tap and the under-sink water filtration system. 4. Connect all plumbing, test the water pressure, and ensure there are absolutely no leaks. To supply and fit 1 x barrell connector to extend flex cable on cooker hood and fit 1 x 3 pin plug top so reaches the socket outlet to left hand side of hob.

1. My uPVC double door which opens to the garden, doesnt fit right within the frame, it has small gaps in the top frame where drought comes in - I have tried adjusting the door position with the adjustment nuts but it has't solved the problem. I am looking for a DIY solution without needing to replace the door. 2. One of my window ventilation duct fitting has fallen off - i have the fallen off part, which needs to be re-fitted to the frame 3. Optional - Kitchen extractor fan needs to be replaced, this is a standalone fan not part of the Cooker hood, I want a quote only for this now.
