Hello, We are looking for an experienced electronics repair technician, small appliance repairer, or a skilled electromechanical handyman to fix a faulty motorised table at our retail store, in Australia Fair Shopping Centre. The Issue: The motorised instrument table in our pre-testing room, which holds our optometry equipment, will no longer move up or down. The height adjustment function has completely stopped working. The green power switch is illuminated, but there is no response from the up/down controls. The Job: The task is to diagnose and repair the fault to restore the table's height adjustment function. The scope of work includes: 1. Attending the site to inspect the motorised table. 2. Diagnosing the root cause of the failure (e.g., faulty switch, a failed motor, a power supply issue, or a loose internal connection). 3. Performing the necessary repairs. This may involve repairing wiring, replacing the control switch, or other components. 4. Testing the table thoroughly to ensure the up and down movement is smooth and fully operational. Please note: This is a specialized piece of equipment. We need someone confident in diagnosing and repairing low-voltage motorised furniture/equipment. The store has spare, non-working tables in storage that could potentially be used for parts if needed.
