need an experienced decorator or handyman to prepare and paint one feature wall in my son’s bedroom. Due to my mobility limitations, I need the successful person to move the bedroom furniture away from the wall before starting and put it back afterwards. The wall previously had decorative wooden strips removed, so it will need: * Moving furniture away from the wall. * Protecting the room and flooring. * Filling screw holes and any small imperfections. * Sanding the wall smooth. * Painting the feature wall with two coats (paint supplied by me). * Moving the furniture back into place once complete. The room will be decluttered before the job. One timber strip near the ceiling is staying in place and does not need to be removed. Please include all labour and any filling/sanding materials in your quote. I will supply the paint.

I'm looking for an experienced handyman or painter to complete two maintenance jobs at a property in Fulham, London.  Job 1: Wall Paint Touch-Up The staircase walls have multiple scuff marks, scratches, and stains (see attached photos). Requirements: * Clean and prepare the affected areas. * Sand and fill minor imperfections if needed. * Refresh the paint only on the affected areas. * The new paint must blend seamlessly with the existing paint, with no obvious patch marks, paint lines, or colour differences. * Please do not simply paint small patches. The repair should be feathered and blended into the surrounding wall so it looks as natural as possible. * Please bring your own tools and materials. If matching the paint is required, please advise.  Job 2: Shower Glass Door Roller Repair The roller on the shower glass door is faulty and needs to be repaired or replaced. Requirements: * Inspect the shower door rollers. * Repair or replace the faulty roller. * Ensure the glass door slides smoothly and is properly aligned after the repair.  Budget Please read before making an offer. We have strict budget constraints, so we are only looking for someone who is happy to work at £30 per hour. I'm looking for a handyman to permanently secure a camera tripod desk mount to my desk. The original clamp doesn't fit the desk edge properly because of the desk design. I've temporarily reinforced it with Gorilla Tape, but it softens in the heat and the mount eventually collapses. I need someone to assess the mount and securely fix it to the desk, most likely by drilling through the thin metal plate on the clamp and fastening it to the desktop with suitable screws, bolts and washers. I'm open to a better solution if you have one. Please bring the appropriate drill bits and fixings if possible. I'll send a short video and photos before you come so you can confirm the best approach. The job is in Tottenham (N17) and should only take around 20–30 minutes for someone with the right tools. Please quote including labour and any basic fixings.

I need a handy person/flooring specialist to: Loft hatch: - Ceiling loft hatch catch is no longer closing properly, so the hatch stays open. - Job is to supply and fit a new catch / latch or adjust the existing mechanism so the hatch closes securely. Luxury floor tiles: - Several luxury vinyl floor tiles (slats) have separated and lifted slightly, leaving visible gaps. - I have spare matching slats/tiles available. - Job is to refit or replace the affected pieces, ensure they are level with the surrounding floor, and minimise visible gaps. Please include your labour cost, any materials you expect to need (adhesive etc.), and an estimate of how long the job will take. I can share more photos and measurements if needed.
