Hi, I am looking to make changes to my fireplace opening which is decommissioned. The list of activities roughly are 1. Laminate flooring (floor slates available) 2. Removal of current mantelpiece 3. Re plastering on sides 4. Movement of power plug to the side where the opening is 5. Close opening for a uniform look with bricks 7. Hidden light installation (optional - unsure if possible) 8. Installation of mantel beam (L140 W15 D10) I'd also welcome consultation whether the opening needs to be sealed or not. Flex with dates but would be great if it can be done in the next 7 days ONO.
