Hi! I need to do repair (filling) on a small part of a wall in my bedroom as well as setting up a tap filter on my kitchen sink (it needs to be put in place of the existing faucet aerator but it’s stuck and I’m very much struggling to remove it). I’m looking for someone to build a simple, neat, custom-made white cover to fit over an unused tiled fireplace. The fireplace is 140cm wide, 100cm tall, and sticks out about 50cm from the wall. The fireplace is not in use and does not need to remain ventilated. I do not want the existing fireplace removed or altered; I just want it visually concealed with a freestanding or removable cover. The cover would essentially be a shallow rectangular box, similar in principle to a radiator cover but without slats or decorative cut-outs. It should have: - flat front panel - flat top - left side panel - right side panel - open back so that it can slide over or sit around the existing fireplace - clean, simple finish - white, ideally in a durable satin or eggshell finish - finished with smooth edges and no visible raw MDF - safe and stable around a young child The overall look should be minimal and built-in, almost like a large plain drawer or console front, rather than a traditional fireplace surround. It does not need internal shelving, doors, ventilation panels or decorative moulding. The priority is simply to conceal the existing tiled fireplace cleanly and make the area look calm and intentional.

THE CHALLENGING BIT (FIRST!) 🧺 Washer-dryer, 97kg, 60 x 66 x 85cm, no handles. Already in the hallway, needs moving to the kitchen & installing. I can't help carry — strict doctor's orders! 🚪 Front door: 64cm clear once fire door is off. Hinges are security Torx with a pin in the centre — bring T20/T25 security bits, standard Torx won't grip. 🪜 Stairs: 63cm wide with handrail, 73cm without. Height clearance 52cm vertical from skirting to handrail. Please come prepared to remove & reattach the screwed-in handrail. EVERYTHING ELSE ↔️ Kitchen door & hallway clear, shouldn't be an issue. Happy to send photos/videos. 🚰 Connect to cold water inlet & waste pipe, level it, remove transit bolts, plug in. Must have experience installing domestic washing machines. ⚠️ 2 people with a stair trolley OR 1 person with a powered stair-climber. No hand-carrying — H&S! 📋 Insurance certificate at booking, before/after photos on the day, invoice at the end. Sort this for me and you'll have a happy customer and an extra fiver in your pocket for a brew — cheers in advance!

The wardrobe has two sliding doors. The front sliding door has come off the bottom track and is now sitting at an angle. As shown in the photos, the bottom of the door is completely out of the rail, while the top appears to remain in place. The door itself is intact and does not appear to be damaged or cracked. However, it is now stuck and cannot slide open or closed. From what I can see, the issue is likely with the bottom roller or running gear, and possibly the top guide or retaining mechanism. The tracks do not appear to be bent, but I am not certain. Photo guide: Photo 1: The front sliding door is leaning because it has come off the bottom track. Photo 2: Close-up of the bottom of the door showing it completely off the track. Photos 3 & 4: Upper section of the same door. The top still appears to be in position, but the door is jammed and will not move. Photo 5: Another close-up of the bottom track and door position. I am looking for a repair rather than a replacement. Please let me know what you think the problem is and provide a quotation based on the attached photos.
