Hi, I’m looking for a quote to install 13 fire-rated LED downlights. I am not an expert in electrics and hence my budget may offend some people here so please just provide a quote you think it’s worth your while and I will make my own conclusions. I have pictures, plans and measurement, just ask! Ceiling is plasterboard with joists (tried to mark the lights where there is no joists but let’s see) • Bedroom 1: 4 downlights • Bedroom 2: 4 downlights • Bedroom 3: 5 downlights • Utility room: 1 downlight (probably the easiest of them all) The downlights will be supplied by me. The existing light/switch connections in each room are to be used, with the existing lighting circuit extended to the new downlights. The job would include supplying the required cable, wiring, connections, installation, testing and if you are certified the. I would take your self certificate as well. There is access via the attic (ladder provided), although the cable runs may not be completely straightforward. This is a 1974 build terraced house The positions of all downlights are already pre-marked. The holes have not yet been cut (73mm).

EVOline 3-socket retractable extension – repair/replacement quote Please check the attached photos. The EVOline unit sits in the kitchen worktop and retracts down into the cupboard below. The existing unit is damaged and difficult to raise/lower. Please quote to repair it if possible, or replace it with a 3 UK socket EVOline/compatible unit. Access is straightforward: the cupboard shelf lifts out, then the rear cabinet panel pulls forward and clips off, revealing the plug/socket connection behind it. The panel clips back into place easily afterwards. The unit is plug-in, not hard-wired. Please state parts and labour separately if possible.

I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 25 CDi (I think) Combi Boiler; there is no hot water being released when hot taps are turned on and there is no heat being delivered to radiators when heating is turned on. When the fault was first identified, the reading displayed "E9". Once boiler cooled down, reading dropped to a low temp. Activated the reset button. Turned on hot taps, temperature on boiler rose, and reached "U9", but still no hot water from taps. Bled the radiators, no air escaped. And pressure is at the right place. May be an issue with the heat exchange. The boiler is also dripping. Would ideally like someone GasSafe certified. Have requested 18/09/26 evening, however am happy for morning of 19/09/26

Hi, I'm looking for someone to fit a new keyed door handle/lock that I've already purchased onto an internal bedroom door in my house in Stevenage. I've already removed the old handle and latch. The new Probrico lock has been trial-fitted and is very close to fitting. It appears it may just need a minor adjustment so the latch sits fully flush, followed by fitting and aligning the supplied strike plate. The new lock, latch, strike plate and all fixings are supplied. The job is to: • Fit the supplied lock. • Make any minor adjustments required for the latch to fit correctly. • Fit and align the supplied strike plate. • Check the handle, latch and key all operate smoothly. The door is an FD30 fire door, so I'd like any alterations to be kept to the minimum necessary. Please let me know your fixed price and earliest availability.
