Looking for a carpenter, joiner, or van builder to frame and line a Long-Wheelbase High-Roof van. We are aiming for a mid-century modern look, so we need warm brown timber for the visible finish (e.g., walnut-stained ply, walnut slat panels, or walnut/sapele veneered plywood). This job requires 2 separate visits to work around the auto-electrician: Visit 1: Supply and fit timber battens to the floor, walls, ceiling ribs, and frame out the wheel arches. [Pause for electrician to run cables] Visit 2: Return after the electrician to measure, scribe, and fit the brown wood panels/cladding over the frame and wiring. Materials Required (Tasker to Supply): Internal framing battens, screws, and high-strength adhesive (e.g., Sikaflex). Subfloor plywood (12mm) Brown mid-century finish wood sheets or slat panels for walls and ceiling (6mm). Requirements: Must have prior experience with van lining or joinery. Must bring all your own tools (saw, drill/driver, scribing tool).

I’m moving into a new flat soon. There is an alcove in my bedroom that is currently dead space that I’m looking to get a couple of clothes rails installed in. I am yet to buy the rails because I need to measure the space. The slight difficulty with the space is that there is one wall that has a bathroom on the other side and another that might be plasterboard (unsure right now though). Picture of alcove attached

I had my boiler relocated but the installer was not able to wire it in. The boiler is located above a power line so hopefully it should be straightforward to create a spur. My tumble dryer has also stopped rotating and needs a look at.

Hi, I need to get two cabinet doors and a scribed panel put to cover this fuse board and electrics. The cabinet should be simple MR MDF in composition and sit flush with the wall. The top panel will need to be scribed to the changing roof line. The doors will have knobs and normal hinges. Attaching to the sides will need to work around cables. The walls are made of masonry. The bottom has timber studs which can be screwed into. We cannot drill into the ceiling.

I'm upgrading the CCTV. This job is the enabling work requiring power and network to the recorder position. CORE SCOPE (please quote for all of this) Electrical - Supply and install a compliant 13A three-pin socket (BS 1363) beside the CCTV recorder position - Supply and run the necessary cable, approx. 5m, from the nearest suitable point - Supply and fit covered trunking or tray for a neat finish - Issue a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate Network - Supply and run a Cat6 Ethernet cable from the router to the CCTV recorder position, approx. 15-20m to be confirmed on site - Terminate both ends and test the connection with a laptop Ring doorbell - Check and test the existing Ring doorbell power connection and report on its condition. It may need repair — tell me what's needed rather than assuming Testing - Confirm the new socket and the network point are both working before leaving OPTIONAL — quote separately if you can do it I'm also fitting a new Hikvision DVR and six to eight replacement cameras onto the existing coax cabling. If you're able to carry out that work as well, please quote it as a separate line. Equipment will be supplied by me. PRACTICAL - Ladder required; cameras and doorbell are at height - Bring a laptop or portable monitor to test the network point - Quote to include all labour and materials Please confirm your qualifications previous experience

Looking for someone to fill some gaps in my entryway flooring and a nearby skirting board corner. Two related jobs, same location: 1. Floorboard/parquet gaps — several gaps between wood blocks near the entrance, along the skirting board line. Need these filled with a flexible acrylic wood filler (not rigid filler) so they can move slightly without cracking out. Ideally colour-matched to the wood tone as closely as possible. 2. Skirting corner gap — a mitred corner joint has a small void behind it. Needs filling with flexible acrylic caulk, and the cavity behind it packed first if it looks hollow.
