Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter, or door specialist to repair a faulty sliding door at our retail store, in Westfield Miranda. The Issue: The large, top-hung sliding wooden door to our optometry room is jamming and will not slide closed properly. Staff must physically lift and force the door to get it to move along the track. The Job: The task is to diagnose and repair the sliding door mechanism to ensure it operates smoothly and effortlessly. The scope of work will involve: 1. Inspecting the top-hung track, rollers, and door alignment. 2. Identifying the root cause of the jamming (e.g., worn or broken rollers, a misaligned track, an issue with the door itself). 3. Carrying out the necessary repairs. This may include adjusting the track, replacing the rollers/trolleys, or making adjustments to the door. 4. Testing the door thoroughly to ensure it slides smoothly and easily from open to closed without needing to be lifted or forced. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply any necessary replacement parts (e.g., new rollers, brackets). The cost for these materials must be included in your final offer. Requirements: - MUST have proven experience with repairing top-hung sliding door systems. - You must supply all your own tools AND all necessary replacement parts (as mentioned above). - Ability to work cleanly and professionally within a live retail environment. - Public liability insurance is required. The spindle nut is recessed deep inside the wall, so special tools are required to remove it. 2. 1. The toilet tank is not filling and it not flushing well. Investigate if its is a blockage. 2. Following that toilet sink requires screw to be tightened, the bathroom glass door hinge needs fixing for the door to close. 3. The toilet seat is off its hinge either fix it in or replace it.
