Looking for a qualified carpenter / builder to relocate an internal door in my home. Scope of work: - Seal up existing door opening - Remove door and frame carefully (to be reused). - Frame up and close off the existing doorway. - Install plasterboard, set, sand and prepare ready for paint. - Create new door opening (in marked wall area) - Cut new opening in plasterboard wall (see red box in photo). - Frame new opening to suit existing door and frame. - Install existing door and frame. - Ensure door is level, aligned and swings properly. - Finishing - Supply all required framing timber, plasterboard, fixings, cornice (if required), etc. - Patch, set and sand ready for paint. - Paint to match existing wall (paint code will be provided). - Clean up and remove all rubbish. Important: Must reuse existing door and frame. Airtasker to supply materials and paint (paint code will be provided). There are a few tasks that just need completing. 1: Fix a small hole that is a couple of cm wide and a few cm high. Possibly colour match the wood if possible. Is under a step and can just be cut into shape. 2: A toilet roll holder hook is hanging on but falls off sometimes, same with 2 other hooks. Needs investigating and possibly replacing. 3: A door knob keeps falling off. 4: The post from our front gate moves and the gate doesn't shut. Needs to be investigated. The top of the post seems to move, needs stability. A quote on labour is required. I'll add photos
