[REPOSTED TO INCLUDE PHOTOS FOR MORE ACCURATE QUOTES] We're looking for a handyman or carpenter to inspect and repair what we believe is a rotten floorboard beneath our washing machine in Brockley/Lewisham. During the spin cycle, the washing machine vibrates excessively. The vibration is strong enough that it causes the kitchen worktop, oven and surrounding units to shake. The oven rattles loudly, and even the removable parts of the hob (pan supports and burner caps) have to be taken off before every spin cycle to reduce the noise. We'd like the floor inspected, the damaged floorboard repaired if necessary, and the washing machine stabilised to significantly reduce the vibration. If further issues are found (e.g. damaged joists or evidence of a leak), please let us know before carrying out any additional work. If you also have experience with any of the following, we'd be happy to discuss them separately: - Shower riser rail & curtain rail installation. - Removal of an old corroded stopcock with wall repair. - Installation of a garden tap.

I have a wooden floor that has been damaged by a small leak/spill of Mr Muscle drain unblocker. The affected area has become dull, discoloured and turned slightly white after being wiped with water. I’m looking for someone experienced with wooden floor repairs to assess the damage and restore the affected area if possible.
