I’m looking for an experienced flooring installer to replace my existing tiled flooring (approx. 40 square metres) with vinyl timber planks (hybrid or luxury vinyl – open to recommendation). The property is an apartment in Chermside, Brisbane. The area includes living room, kitchen and hallway spaces (no bathrooms). Scope of work required: • Inspect existing tiled floor • Advise whether tiles need to be removed or if vinyl can be laid over them • Supply and install vinyl timber flooring (or assist me in purchasing suitable materials) • Help with underlay selection if required • Remove and dispose of old tiles if necessary • Install trims, transitions and skirting adjustments if required • Ensure level finish and clean workmanship I would really appreciate guidance on: • Which vinyl timber flooring brand/type to purchase • Where to buy (Bunnings / local flooring supplier etc.) • Best option for durability and value for money Timing: Ideally looking to complete within the next 1–2 months, but flexible for the right installer. Please provide: • Rough estimate per m² installed • Whether you supply materials or install only • Timeline • Previous similar job photos if available Access: Apartment with lift access and easy parking nearby. Looking for someone reliable, experienced and detail-oriented.

Some floor vinyl was lifted due to water leak and old inactive termite damage was found. Insurance is doing most of repairs but I have to get floor done. I don’t need the old under floor to look amazing cause I want to put the vinyl planks back on top. I only want something that is flat nothing fancy, insurance guy suggested replace damaged parts with Mdf
