Hello! I would like you to oil my dining room floor. It's not the first-time oiling, it's for maintenance. Here are the instructions for it I found on the internet: 1. Vacuum clean the floor carefully. 2. Clean the floor using Kährs Cleaner and Micro Mop. Follow the Kährs Cleaner instructions. Only damp cleaning, the surface should be dry again within a minute. For very dirty floors replace the micro mop using a rough brush. 3. Remove cleaner and dirt using a wrung out cloth. 4. Dry the surface using a dry cloth and leave the floor to dry for 30 minutes. For very dirty floors or on floors with heavy textures, it might be necessary to repeat step 2–4. 5. Apply a thin layer of Kährs Satin Oil on the surface and spread it evenly with a Kährs Micro Mop or a dry cloth by scrubbing along the texture. Polish again with a new Micro Mop after 10-15 minutes so that no sticky parts are left. Please observe that two layers of thin oil gives a better result than one thick layer. Applying a too high amount of oil will result in a sticky surface. After a drying time of 5 hours the floor can be used with care, but needs 12 hours before lighter furniture can be moved back. Wait 24 hours to move back carpets and heavier furniture.

I have two small cosmetic repairs. 1) Engineered wood floor: a pen leaked, and while removing the ink the floor finish/colour was damaged, leaving a lighter patch. I’m looking for a local spot repair, not sanding the whole floor. 2) Painted wall: a child scratched their name through the paint. The scratches need filling, sanding and repainting. Please advise if both can be repaired locally and provide an estimate from the photos

I would like to get the wooden planks from my balcon cleaned. I need the 5 pot of plants and a few other items moved first, fix any loose nails, clean the wood planks and repaint or wood stain / treatment. As I'm on 11th floor, pressure washing is not an option as it will impact my downstairs neighbours. I have a wooden floor that has been damaged by a small leak/spill of Mr Muscle drain unblocker. The affected area has become dull, discoloured and turned slightly white after being wiped with water. I’m looking for someone experienced with wooden floor repairs to assess the damage and restore the affected area if possible. I'm looking for someone with experience to install the laminate floorboards in my living room ( I have the flooring) Room size = 11.5m2 The room has already been prepped - I have taken off the skirting boards, prepped the floor with plywood and put down the underlay. I have a multitool and mitre cutter which can be used if tools are required. Scope of works to complete: - Install laminate flooring throughout the room - Leave the appropriate expansion gap around the perimeter - Use a multi tool to cut under the door architrave so the laminate floorboard slips neatly under this - Make neat cuts around the door frame, radiator pipes and any other obstacles - Ensure a clean, professional finish - Leave the room clean and tidy (I can dispose of the rubbish)
