I need a small section of timber floorboards (doorway area – see photos) sanded back and refinished to match the surrounding treated floorboards as closely as possible. The area was previously covered by tiles and has old adhesive/paint residue and uneven finish. I’m after a professional result that blends in with the existing floor. Scope of work: • Sand back the existing timber boards to bare timber • Remove all residue/old finish • Prepare surface properly (fill if required) • Stain/colour match to existing floorboards • Apply suitable clear protective coat (polyurethane or similar) • Clean up after job • Supply and apply all required materials Details: • Area size: approximately 1100mm x 1100mm • Location: indoor hallway / door threshold • Access is easy • Photos attached Requirements: • Experience with timber floor sanding & finishing • Own tools and materials preferred • Ability to colour match existing floor as close as possible
