We’ve recently moved house and need help with a few small tasks: 1.We have a wardrobe with 2 sliding doors that we previously dismantled. We’re struggling to correctly fit the doors back onto the bottom track — the lower guide pieces keep coming out. We need someone experienced to fix and properly install the doors. 2.We need help installing a Ring Doorbell Camera outside our front door. This requires drilling a couple of holes and mounting it securely. 3.Carry a chest of drawers from ground floor to first floor (one person is already here to help). Important: • No shoes in the house — please bring shoe covers or be ready to remove shoes • Tools required (especially a drill) • Looking for someone practical and efficient Should be a quick job for someone experienced.

Hi, I’m looking for support with a couple of plumbing-related tasks: 1. Toilet flushing issues - unidentified issue (potentially the syphon) Around the new year, our flush suddenly went from working normally to only flushing properly when we apply a lot of force. Often we have to try to flush up to 5 times for it to flush properly. We’ve opened up, cleaned and “flushed” the Fill Valve ourselves which showed no build-up or residue hence it didn’t fix the issue. We’ve also tried descaling the cistern using citric acid. The toilet system consists of the “Turbo 44-R 2-part syphon” and the “Fluidmaster 400 model anti-siphon”. Note the tap to shut off the water supply is difficult to turn off all the way so you may need a special key or tool to fully shut it off before working on the toilet flushing issue. We’ve only been able to shut it off to around 90%. 2. Water pipe leak at the shut-off valve point (inside the flat, kitchen) Note that it’s in a slightly hard-to-reach place, behind one of the kitchen cupboards (floor level), accessible through a cut-out in the inner cupboard wall. It also has another pipe (plastic) nearby, partially touching it. The property is in a block of flats, 3rd floor, no lift. Please let us know whether we need to purchase any parts in advance

I have a leak coming from the shower tray in the master bathroom. The leak only happens when the shower is in use and water is dripping through to the floor below. It appears the leak is coming from where the shower tray is sealed against the tiles in the corner. I’ve run water in that corner and that’s when it leaks most, it’s not the drain , ideall, the bottom row of tiles may need to be removed, the old sealant removed, then re-tiled and properly re-sealed. Maybe using something like clad seal under the tile

Project: Garage Conversion & Plumbing Extension (5-7m Run) I am looking for an experienced builder/plumber to handle a partial garage conversion. The main task is extending water and waste services from my house to a detached garage located approx. 5-7m away. Scope of Work: Groundworks/Plumbing: Tap into the existing downstairs WC/sink supply in the main house. Run water and wastewater pipes underground to the garage (requires cutting/digging under concrete and reinstating). Structural: Remove the existing garage door and brick up the opening to match the exterior (access is via a separate side door). Internal Build: Construct a stud partition wall with an internal door to create the bathroom space. Insulation & Boarding: Fully insulate the new bathroom area (walls/ceiling) and board ready for tiling. Installation: Fit a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. Ensure all waste pipes have the correct fall for drainage. Finishing: Full tiling of the shower/floor and a professional final finish. Requirements: Proven experience in groundworks and bathroom fit-outs. Must have all necessary tools (concrete cutters, etc.). Please provide photos of previous similar conversions. The air tasker must supply all of the materials, we can pay the invoices.
