Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced to supply and install a small garden room or good-quality shed-style outdoor building at the back of my garden. It will be placed on an existing concrete area. I do not have the exact dimensions yet, so I would need someone to measure the space and quote for a suitable size that stays within permitted development rules and does not require planning permission. The space will mainly be used to store event business equipment, including a dessert cart, candy floss machine, popcorn machine, hot dog machine and similar items. I may also need space for a small workbench/work area. Because the items are metal/electrical equipment, the building must be dry, secure, weatherproof, ventilated and suitable for reducing damp, condensation and rust as much as possible. I’m looking for an affordable, practical option using good materials, rather than a luxury garden room. I know these builds can easily go into five figures, but I am not looking for a high-end garden room build. I just want something neat, safe, practical, weatherproof and well put together. Open to offers price negotiable. Ideally, I would like the quote to include: At least 2 double sockets Internal lighting A secure door Weatherproof finish Ventilation and damp protection Supply and installation Please only respond if you have experience with sheds, garden rooms or outdoor buildings and can quote for the full job. Install 90cm Fence Topper on 7m Garden Wall (Including Sourcing Parts) Task Description: I have a 7-metre long brick garden wall (80cm high) separating my garden from my neighbour’s. I’d like to install a wall topper to increase privacy. The topper should be approximately 90cm high and consist of: • Metal uprights fixed to the top of the wall • Horizontal timber panelling on both sides (mine and my neighbour’s) I’m looking for someone to: • Help source and select suitable parts (uprights, brackets, panels, fixings) • Install the uprights securely (preferably using chemical anchors or appropriate masonry fixings) • Fit the wooden panelling neatly and securely The wall is built with reclaimed bricks (old, but recently rebuilt), so care will be needed when drilling. Ideally looking for someone experienced with fencing or masonry fixings. I posted one photo of my wall (the photo with the dog) and another 2 photos that I found online of the type of wall topper that I would like installed.

I have a stairgate I need fitting in. I need the stairgate properly bolted or screwed to the wall as my dog is able to knock it down quite easily and I want to stop him from going on my stair carpet. It’s a standard stairgate but I need someone with a bit more knowledge and ability to essentially reinforce it for me. Dog will be in the garden when work is being done so if you are scared of dogs you won’t have to see him.
