I have a ceiling-to-floor roller blind that has come out of the ratchet/end mechanism and needs to be slotted/clicked back into place. • Blind is approximately 3 metres long • It is a chain-operated roller blind, allowing it to be pulled up and down • Despite the chain, the blind needs to be re-seated correctly into the ratchet/end fitting • Due to the length and weight, this task will likely require two people to safely align and click it back into place • Blind fabric and chain are in good condition — it has simply come out of the fitting Requirements: • Experience with roller blinds / window furnishings • Own tools if required • Ability to safely handle a long blind and refit it correctly Location: Clayfield Preferred time/date: [Add if relevant] Please respond only if you have experience refitting or installing roller blinds. Task Description: I am looking for someone to install IKEA VIDGA curtain tracks only. Curtains will be installed separately, so this task is strictly for fitting and securing the tracks. The tracks will be installed across multiple rooms in the same home. Scope of Work: • One room with approximately 7 metres of track • One room with approximately 5 metres of track • Three rooms with approximately 3 brackets each • Ceiling installation required for tracks • Tracks will already be purchased and on site Tools and Equipment Required: Installer must supply their own tools, including • Drill • Stud finder • Appropriate ceiling or wall anchors such as plaster anchors or toggle anchors • Hacksaw (for cutting Vidga tracks to size) • Measuring tools and level What I Am Looking For: • Experience installing curtain tracks or curtain rods • Ability to measure accurately and install tracks straight and level • Secure fixing suitable for ceiling installation • Clean and tidy finish Location: Molongolo Valley Timing: Flexible, but would prefer installation today This is essentially a task of screwing a few things to a wall neatly (and should hopefully take no more than 45 minutes to one hour).
