Property - First-floor leasehold flat, Flat 27B, in a two-flat converted Victorian mid-terrace. - The main front entrance door is communal. - My existing mechanical doorbell chime is mounted on the first-floor communal hallway wall. - The existing doorbell is not currently working. - A previous electrician reportedly found that the old transformer had been disconnected and that the historic system may have been powered from the ground-floor flat, Flat 27A. - The new installation must be powered solely from my metered electricity supply in Flat 27B. Proposed equipment I intend to supply: - Reolink wired Video Doorbell WiFi D340W; - Reolink plug-in chime; - Reolink Home Hub Mini; and - high-endurance microSD card. The D340W requires either 24V DC or 12–24V AC power. It connects to my router over Wi-Fi.
