Experienced carpenter needed for several framing jobs in a Victorian house. 1. Bedroom wall – demolish & rebuild Remove an existing non-load-bearing stud/lath-and-plaster wall between two bedrooms and rebuild it approximately 0.5m further into one bedroom to make the adjoining room larger. New wall approx. 2m wide × 2m high, plus a short return/corner section approx. 0.5m. 2. Bathroom shower wall Build a new stud partition for a shower, approx. 2.3m high × 1.5m deep. 3. Concealed WC Build a small frame for a concealed WC/cistern, approx. 1m high × 400mm wide. 4. Four pocket doors Prepare/alter 4 existing internal door openings and construct the correct framing for pocket-door systems. Some existing walls are traditional Victorian lath-and-plaster and are non-load-bearing. Openings need to be correctly measured and framed square, plumb and level. We can supply the pocket-door kits separately if required. Please state in your offer: • Labour cost • Whether timber/fixings are included • Whether removal/disposal of debris is included • Whether fitting the pocket-door kits is included or framing only • Estimated number of days • Your experience with pocket doors/stud framing Ideally looking for one experienced carpenter to complete all the work together. I have two small repairs that need doing: 1. **Broken flooring transition/threshold strip** The small raised strip between two different floor finishes has broken. One side is laminate/fake wood flooring. The existing transition strip will likely need to be removed and replaced with a new matching or similar profile. 2. **Door frame repair** Part of a wooden door frame has become slightly rotten/soft, meaning the screws are starting to pull out and no longer hold properly. I’d like the damaged section repaired or reinforced so the screws can be securely fixed again. Ideally looking for someone who can assess both and complete the repairs in one visit, including supplying any small replacement parts/materials needed.

I need 3 recessed glass doorways temporarily filled with timber frames and 18mm plywood, so the finished surface is flush with the existing wall and ready for a professional company to install dance mirrors. The existing doors must stay in place behind the new panels. This is a leased commercial property, so no drilling or permanent fixings into the existing walls, floor, ceiling, doors or door frames. The infills need to be secure and stable but fully removable at the end of the lease without damage. I only need the 3 door recesses filled, not a new wall across the whole room. Looking for someone experienced with timber studwork/carpentry who can measure, supply materials and install. Photos available showing the existing wall.

Install a fully built cabinet into a bathroom . The cabinet is an EHNET cabinet from IKEA and has been assembled. The bathroom wall for placement is either brick or concrete . A suitable drill will be required . Some screws have been provided though I am uncertain they are adequate. I would appreciate if the tasker can assess the job and provide more stable screws and screw plugs if they think necessary. Instructions for installation are available on the Ikea website . The cabinet does not have doors.
