Hi, We would like a quote for the following carpentry tasks: 1. Fix door handles on 4 doors so that they work smoothly. In a couple areas, the wood underneath looks a little bit damaged, I’ve added a photo 2. Fix 2 doors that don’t close smoothly (think they are catching a bit on the bottom) 3. Board up bathroom cupboard at the back (see image) 4. In the kitchen, our dishwasher won’t fully open because of a piece of wood in the way of the opening on the cupboards, we would like it adjusted to be able to fully open the dishwasher 5. For an existing built-in cupboard in our entrance hall (shown in one of the images with 3 doors), we would like to make sure the doors close properly, and add shelving inside the existing cupboards Thanks very much and let me know any questions. Ideally would be great if we could get this all done in a single day. Thanks :)

Looking for an experienced furniture installer/carpenter to install a wardrobe in my bedroom. The wardrobe is IKEA PAX, and I want the finished installation to look as clean and built-in as possible rather than simply like freestanding IKEA furniture. The exact configuration will be confirmed before the job, but the work will include: - Assembling the wardrobe carcass - Positioning and levelling the units - Securely fixing them to the wall - Installing doors, shelves, rails and internal fittings - Adjusting doors so everything is perfectly aligned - Potentially adding simple finishing/filler panels or trims to create a more built-in appearance I am particularly looking for someone experienced with IKEA PAX or similar wardrobe systems. Please include: - Photos of previous wardrobe/PAX installations - Whether you can also do basic carpentry/finishing work - Your estimated labour price - Your availability, ideally before 1st November Note: I am reposting this ad as the previous one expired.

I have a large recessed area inside the bedroom of my small, but beautifully designed 1 bed flat, situated on a Georgian Square I Barnsbury, Islington. N1. It’s wide enough to accommodate a double bed. But I have taken the decision to move things around a bit. So I am now looking for someone who can design & then build some form of customised ‘Wardrobe’ - to provide me with a versatile & efficient place to house my clothes, shoes, etc. Please note: I am NOT looking for someone to simply build an Ikea or similar chest of drawers (which is what I currently have in the space). I am looking for someone with true carpentry skills who can BUILD a thing of beauty from scratch! Happy to pay more for slow close, smooth runners, etc. (We can discuss what you think you can achieve). So the indication price I have posted - is just a ball park figure WITHOUT materials/ wood/ etc. I am happy to pay for this on top.
