I'm looking for a tidy, experienced carpenter/joiner to replace a rotten bathroom door lining. My existing bathroom door lining has become damaged/rotten due to a shower leak. The shower has now been repaired and no longer leaks. The work will likely involve: Carefully removing the existing door lining without damaging the surrounding wall tiles or shower enclosure. Supplying and fitting a new softwood door lining. Supplying and fitting new architrave where possible (one jamb adjacent to the shower is too close to accommodate architrave). Rehanging the existing door. Refitting the existing hinges, latch and door furniture. Making any minor adjustments necessary to ensure the door opens and closes correctly. I will carry out all decorating and painting myself, so only the carpentry work is required.

Hi, we have a kitchen cabinet door that came off the hinges and seems to have damaged some of the wood of the frame. We are keen to have the damage fixed and the cabinets remounted. Not sure if this needs wood filler or those strengthening braces, but would love to get this sorted. Should be a quick and easy job for someone experienced (would prefer someone local). We can be flexible on dates and times.

We want built in shelving/clothes rail building into a side space in the bedroom. The space doesn’t need a door (it’s open to the room), but want to have built in storage. The space is roughly 2m x 0.8m (1m in the arch recess). We are open to design ideas. We just moved into the house so please excuse the space is currently messy as we’re using it to put unbuilt furniture etc. Note: we entered £10 in the budget as a placeholder.
