Looking for an experienced appliance repair engineer to diagnose and fix my Russell Hobbs built-in electric oven. The oven is causing the downstairs electrical fuse/circuit to trip when used. I suspect it may be a faulty heating element but need someone to inspect it, identify the problem and carry out the necessary repairs.

If any parts are required, I will pay for the parts separately.

Cooker Hood Replacement (Recirculating/Hardwired) + Towel Radiator Quote Description: Looking for an experienced handyman to replace an old cooker hood with a new recirculating model (no external ducting needed). The electricals are already in place and likely hardwired, so the job requires disconnecting the old unit, mounting the new one, and reconnecting it. I also have a bonus project—please provide a separate quote in your offer if you are able to replace a central heating bathroom towel radiator as well. Tasks include: • Disconnect & remove the existing wall-mounted cooker hood. • Mount & install the new recirculating cooker hood (straight swap). • Connect to existing electricals (likely hardwired to a fused spur, TBC). • Verify operation to ensure lights and fan speeds work perfectly. • [Optional Bonus] Provide a separate price to swap out an existing bathroom towel radiator (straight swap connected to the central heating system; pipework is already in place). What I will provide: • The new recirculating cooker hood. • The new central heating towel radiator (if we proceed with the bonus task). Requirements: • Please bring your own tools including hammer drill, and standard fixings. • Experience with hardwired kitchen appliances and basic plumbing (for the radiator swap). • Please state your availability and clearly split your offer (e.g., "£X for hood only, +£Y for radiator"). Location: Near Queen’s Park station Due Date: Ideally 6-7-8 Nov

Smeg SUK61MFX oven repair – display dead, no heat (NW2) Willesden, NW2 (in person) When Flexible, ideally Mon–Wed this week Budget £100 for diagnosis and fitting labour. Parts paid separately at cost, on receipt. Details Smeg SUK61MFX 60cm dual-fuel cooker (gas hob + 3.0 kW electric multifunction oven). Rating plate photo attached. Fault: The gas hob works fine. I’ve already tried a power reset at the cooker switch. Looking for: An experienced appliance engineer to diagnose and repair. Likely the programmer/clock module, thermal cut-out or a loose connection, but open to your diagnosis. Please include in your offer: Experience repairing Smeg cookers Whether you’re Gas Safe registered (the cooker is gas-connected, in case it needs moving) Whether you can source Smeg parts, and the likely cost if it’s the programmer Your guarantee on parts and labour If a part needs ordering, I’m happy for you to diagnose first and return to fit it. I've got an old Elica ciak in recirculating mode (Built-in / semi-integrated pull-out hood designed to hide inside a kitchen cabinet). i need 2 steps: First someone to have a look at my current setup and help me understand if the change can be done. Maybe look t some models with me for replacements, so i can feel confident with what i'm buying. After that, i'd need someone to install it (if there's significant work needed) . if no works are needed i can install myself. i want to understand if i can replace it with a different kind of extractor (definitely want a newer model )

My fridge is making a loud noise when it runs. The noise lasts for roughly 20–30 minutes, then the fridge goes quiet for around 20 minutes before starting again. It is still cooling normally, but the noise is much louder than I would expect. I’m looking for someone experienced with domestic fridge/freezer repairs to diagnose the cause and advise whether it is a simple vibration/fan issue, something repairable, or whether replacement would make more sense. Please quote for diagnosis/call-out first. I don’t want any repair work carried out without agreeing the cost beforehand. Also want the extractor fan above the oven to be looked at as this is also extremely loud
