For an art exhibition, I am wanting to make a wall covering that looks like the international space station by creating cushioned looking walls and sewing some squares of Velcro onto them. Basically I have a bunch of mattress protectors and I need straight lines sewn, the and then adjoining together. I do not have a sewing machine so tasker can be anywhere in London but needs to be completed by 1:30pm Wednesday.

I’m looking for an experienced, self-employed seamstress to spend a full day working at my home in London this week. I have a collection of archival designer fashion including Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Gucci and Dior etc, several pieces require internal hanging ribbons and/or brand labels to be carefully sewn in. This will improve their presentation on the hanger while properly supporting heavier and more fragile garments. Experience working with vintage, luxury designer pieces and delicate fabrics is essential. There will also be ad hoc and more detailed work available going forward, so experience with embellishment and beadwork repairs would be a real advantage. A meticulous approach and a friendly, positive, can-do attitude are a must.
