Looking for an experienced furniture restorer or carpenter to repair a broken leg on a vintage/antique upholstered wooden armchair. One of the curved wooden legs has fractured (photos attached). I’m looking for a proper structural repair that will make the chair safe and functional again, while preserving its original appearance and matching the existing wood finish as closely as possible. Ideally, the repair would be completed at my home in Hammersmith. However, if workshop repairs are necessary, I would need someone who can arrange collection and return of the chair, as I don’t have suitable transport. Please let me know: * Whether you have experience with similar structural furniture repairs. * Whether you can complete the work on-site. * Your estimated cost, including collection and return if required. * Your earliest availability. Happy to share additional photographs if needed.
