My elderly mother's garden has become overgrown so I need a one-time clean up including weeding, triming and general tidying. She's a keen gardener so it's normally a well kept garden but unfortunately due to ill health its gotten a little out of control for her recently. I don't live close to her but I've been and done a basic clean up (weeded the driveway, strimmed, cut back over grown shrubs etc.) but I'm no gardener! She has basic tools like loppers, pruning shears, a garden vac/shredder etc. its a small back garden with no lawn thats been landscaped to make it low maintenance, a greenhouse and some raised beds. Once the initial cleanup is done, I'll be looking for someone to come one or two days per month (One day per month in Winter and two days from Spring) to keep it under control. She's a keen gardener so will maintain it day to day herself but at 84, she can't do any heavy lifting or operate the garden vac etc. I'm happy to pay $150 for someone to give me 5 or 6 hours hard work but thats the budget so if thats not enough, lets not waste each others' time. Garden pond needs cleaning and I want the water replaced fully. Fish died in it and not sure if it has harmful bacteria. The pond's edges are square and about 140 by 150cm but the pond itself is circular within this square and probably about 1m deep in it's deepest point (though may be less - previous owner dug it up). I managed to keep the pond water clean for a long time but after the fish died this summer, the water turned dark. Last month, found a fox dead next to the pond too so the pond is currently covered with a plastic sheet.

Anyone available to cut back some grass for us and bag it up? Can pay cash in hand, no need to dispose of it after. Can provide a small lawnmower, strimmer and plenty of cold water and snacks. Back garden and two areas of front garden on the new build estate off Rathmell Road. Husband has just had surgery and I'm very heat intolerant, but we really want to be able to use the garden in this weather where we can! Happy to negotiate price.
