I have two old pcs that have data on them , music files & photos that I wish to save & transfer to my new pc.

The BT engineer has set up the Wi-Fi in the garage, where the fibre connection is available. However, I need to extend the Wi-Fi to the other rooms. The previous owner has installed some cabling throughout the house, but I’m not sure how to set it up or connect it to the Wi-Fi. The BT guy advised "If you want the router in the house - you can make one of the old copper cables in to an Ethernet cable and plug the router in one end and the other end in the ONT (white box I’ve put on the wall) Or get a long (50m) Ethernet cable and run that from the ONT to where ever you want in the house"

Home office needs a proper rewire and cable management overhaul - looking for an electrician or qualified IT/AV installer rather than a general handyman. Currently a laptop dock, multiple monitors, webcam, mic/headset, keyboard/mouse, and a chain of USB hubs all cabled together with no management (one hub chain keeps dropping out under load, likely needs re-running properly rather than daisy-chained off a cheap bus-powered hub). Want: cables properly run/hidden (under-desk tray or trunking, chased if needed), hubs/sockets consolidated and mounted correctly, everything labelled, and the whole setup made reliable and tidy. Please bring your own tools/materials (trunking, mounting hardware, cable tray, extra sockets if relevant) - happy to cover the cost of anything extra needed on the day.

The flat’s Wi-Fi is currently not working. The router has a solid yellow light instead of the expected green light, indicating it is not connecting to the internet. The guest has confirmed they are using the correct Wi-Fi credentials and has restarted the router several times, but the issue persists. Devices show “unable to connect”. The likely issue is with the router/broadband connection rather than the Wi-Fi password.
