Hi! I'm moving into a new flat and I need help unpacking on Saturday 5th September. The rate I suggest is the proposed hourly rate. I assume it’ll take 6-8 hrs. This is a bit more than lifting boxes. I'm looking for someone with a natural instinct for where things belong in a home. Someone who can open a box of kitchen things and work out a sensible, liveable layout without needing to check in on every single item. What the days involve: Unpacking room by room, kitchen and bathroom first Finding logical homes for things so the flat actually works to live in Handling fragile and sentimental items slowly and carefully Wrapping cleared away, boxes flattened, surfaces wiped down Using your own judgement on the small calls, checking with me on the bigger ones You'd be a great fit if you've done this before, either professionally or for friends and family, and you take real care with people's things. I'd love someone who enjoys leaving a space feeling calm and finished rather than just empty of boxes.

Removal of corner unit, display cabinet, coffee table, music unit, small electric fire, tv stand, double bed, 2 bar stool, book cabinet and freezer.

Clearance of five full boxes, three soft clothes bags, electrical items, dismantled bookcase and clothes rail, garden furniture, two rugs, vacuum cleaners, one chair. Will easily fit in a transit.

There are some large items of furniture that will need to be disassembled first so they can fit in the skip. I would suggest at least two people due to some heavy lifting and most of the furniture being on the first floor. There is also some general waste to be cleared from a ground floor warehouse. The skip is already on site I just need it filled. Tools for dismantling the furniture would be an advantage.
