Water damage ceiling in a small bedroom. Leak has been fixed and ceiling left to dry for some weeks. Light fitting has been changed to LED but can be left disconnected, the sparky made the hole a little bigger than needed so small additional patch will be needed. Not looking for the perfect job but believe the integrity of the roof is such repair vs replace should be possible. If you'd like to inspect first or see additional photos welcome to let me know. The room will need to be covered so dust is contained as its still tenanted. Task is for patching without painting. I dropped my iPhone 12 at the beach yesterday. It would've been for about 2-3 seconds which was enough time for sea water to get into the openings. I did my best to dry it immediately and knock out any excess water. Some issues that have occurred: - Phone infinitely restarting. - Phone turns on, works perfectly fine for a few hours then shuts off. - Sim card reader not working. - Face ID not working. I just want a honest and solid assessment of what the damage is and whether it is worth repairing. If the repair costs anything close to a new phone then I'd much rather get a new iPhone.
