I have removed kitchen splash back tiles off the wall (brick/cement wall) and the old cement tile glue bed is remaining. I need this glue chipped off (it’s about 2-4mm deep in some spots) to make the wall flush again. I have started this and the task is not hard. It comes off with one little tap per piece. There is two sides of the kitchen to do however it isn’t a big kitchen. The caveat is that I do not want any electrical tools used at all, I will supply the hammer and the particular chisel tool I want used to take each one off by hand. Please don’t advise me that a jackhammer is quicker as I am not interested. I wish for it to be done very gently by hand. I have taken a photo and a video of how easy this is . I will pay you for 1 and a half hours work which should get the job done . If done quicker , not a problem. If it takes longer you can call it quits after 1 and a half hours. Note: it’s not the entire wall, just the splashback strip that runs across the middle of both walls. Can also be done on Friday.

Looking for an experienced handyman/painter to complete two small home maintenance jobs – a bathroom tile refresh and kitchen skirting/kickboard painting. 1. Bathroom tile grout refresh Refresh the white grout between the existing bathroom floor tiles. The floor is approximately 1.5m × 2.5m (3.75m²) with small square tiles. This is a cosmetic grout refresh, applying fresh white grout over the existing grout lines to brighten and freshen their appearance. This is not a full regrouting job. The shower has been done about 6 weeks ago with same solution and looks good. I will have the floor pre-cleaned ready for you. I only need the white grout applied neatly over the existing lines with excess cleaned from the tiles. I will supply: Dunlop Ready-to-Go White Coloured Grout 800g Grout smoothing/application tool 2. Kitchen skirting/kickboard paint over in white approx 2 meters x 15cm tall. Paint the existing grey skirting/kickboard along the bottom as shown in the photo. Paint and undercoat with brush and tray supplied including masking tape. Tasker to bring: Bucket Sponge/cloths Any other basic equipment required to complete. The tiles on our front steps have broken and need to be replaced. The old tiles will need to be removed and the the stairs themselves probably need to be cleaned up to fit new tiles. You will need to source the tiles. Both steps need replacing. Dimensions of the step (and the fire the tiles need to be) 910mm wide, 300mm deep and 40mm high.

I've tried Lithofin Intensive cleaner and Stain stop sealer, some places it's worked, others not so. Did not use mechanical scrubber. Tiles are Lappato semi polished ONLY tile professionals need apply, not a DIY or handyman - please dont waste my time or yours. thank you
