The toilet has a vinyl floor atm and I'd like it to be tiled. Its 1.40m x 0.80m and the tiles will fit under the door which i can remove. A porcelain benchtop is to be installed on top of a bricked inbuilt BBQ area. We need the area below the stone prepped to provide a level and stable base for the stone to sit on. Scope of works: Check the surface with a long straight edge or level to identify any high spots. Grind these down using a grinder with a diamond disc or similar. Install aluminium angle along the wall edges and secure with hammer fixings to form the base. Once the benchtop is in place, any gaps or unevenness in the base will be highlighted.
