Pickup 10am 13th of May Need someone to come pick up a solid timber coffee table from South Yarra at 10am and deliver to Watsonia. The coffee table is about 75 x 120 cm and fairly heavy. There will be 2 people available in each location to help lift the table. Simple move with no stairs. A van would be ideal given the size and weight of the table.

Van load of belongings from Coburg to CBD

Hey all, we’re in the process of moving some furniture and boxes, but I’ve done my back proper last week, and at the moment I can barely walk, let alone bend and lift. So, I need some help to load stuff on a van I’ve rented. Time, date & place are not negotiable (sorry!) - has to happen on Sat 2 Jan 21, at 10.30 am, at our place in Coburg North. Please don’t put your hand up unless you’re 100% sure you can and want to do it. Although the van has an hydraulic lift at the back, there’s still some heavy lifting to do, including bringing a couch and a mattress from first floor to ground level. I’ll have everything we need, including a moving trolley, tape, blankets etc. I will be there and can assist but can’t lift anything meaningful. Two people in total needed, so I will put the ad up twice. Hourly payment offered is per person - I expect we will be done in one hour. If we finish earlier, I’ll still pay the full hour.
