Hi! I’m looking for someone experienced with pool maintenance to inspect my pool equipment and help get the pool cleaning system working again. The pump has been making noise, the pump basket has had a lot of air in it and is almost empty, and there is currently no water coming out of the in-floor cleaning jets. I’ve also noticed some possible leaks around the equipment, and the pool water level has been low. The pool has a Waterco sand filter, saltwater chlorinator and Dontek controller. The job involves: * Inspecting the pool pump and filtration system to identify the issue. * Checking for leaks, blockages or air getting into the system. * Checking the water circulation and in-floor cleaning jets. * Completing any basic troubleshooting or repairs where possible. * Advising me of any additional repairs or parts required. I’m not sure exactly what the issue is, so I’m looking for someone who can diagnose the problem and recommend the best solution. The pool is approximately 20 years old and has started developing a few leaks. I've attempted a couple of minor repairs myself, but I think it's getting to the stage where it needs some professional attention and potentially a more substantial renovation. Ideally, I'm looking at two possible options. Option 1 – Short-term repairs: Identify where the pool is leaking and assess whether it's possible to patch or repair the affected areas to get us through this summer. Option 2 – Full restoration: If the pool really needs a proper refurbishment, I'd be interested in discussing a more comprehensive restoration, including repairing any cracks or damaged areas and potentially resurfacing the fibreglass shell. We're going to be away for approximately a month over Christmas, so that could be an ideal opportunity to undertake more substantial work while the pool isn't being used. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest quick fix. I'd like someone knowledgeable who can give me an honest assessment of what's worth repairing and whether a full restoration makes financial sense. I am wanting to get the sand replaced in our Hayward S270T sand filter and check / service. Filter is running well however pool is a little bit cloudy and been approx 8 years since replaced.

The connecting pipe to the filter has been dripping , need to fix it

Leak at the skimmer box / pipe connection. Remove and replace pipe connection to skimmer box. Reconnect to external pipe. Excavation around the pipe has already been undertaken. Then test to confirm if fix works.

Went to backwash the filter after not doing it for a while, when turning it back to filter water continues to waste - issue similar to spider gasket issue experienced 2 years ago. Would also like to have it serviced so it can be used for summer. Looking for potentially fortnightly/monthly cleaning and service as it is a small plunge pool.

Air vent for bubbles has broken off and needs repairing

All primary equipment will be provided on site by me. You will need to provide standard PVC pipe fittings, pressure pipe, glue/primer, and electrical connections. Work Required: 1. Decommission & Remove: Disconnect and remove existing failing pump, CompuPool CF1500 cartridge casing, and CompuPool chlorinator controller/cell. 2. Install Main Filtration Pump: Install owner-supplied Madimack InverFlow F300i (1.0 HP) variable-speed inverter pump. 3. Install Cartridge Filter Casing: Install owner-supplied 200 sq. ft. cartridge filter housing (Onga Pantera / Waterco Opal). 4. Install Chlorinator & Auto pH Doser: Mount and wire owner-supplied Madimack InverCHLOR system and Madimack Auto pH Acid Doser module. Plumb the inline electrolytic cell and acid injection point into the return line. 5. Replace 3-Way Valve & Re-manifold: Replace existing 40mm 3-way solar valve with a customer-supplied 40mm/50mm Jandy valve. Rebuild pad manifold using 50mm PVC pressure pipe where possible to maximize flow efficiency. 6. Solar Integration: Keep existing secondary solar booster pump and blue Dontek solar controller wired and active in line with the new setup. 7. Commissioning: Test flow rate at low pump speeds (1,400 RPM), ensure flow switch engages, prime acid doser, and verify no leaks. Customer Provided Equipment: Madimack InverFlow F300i Pump 200 sq. ft. Pool pump intake valve has an air leak. I narrowed it down to this elbow. Need it replaced so I can continue working on my deck.

Empty pool, acid wash, replace 3 x eyeball outlets and main drain. Pool is 7 x 3.5 with depth of 1m to 1.8m.

My pool pump is leaking from two different locations.
