Find professional pool maintenance in NSW

We have a two-section outdoor pond in Leura, blue mountains. The larger section only needs a leak-proof fibreglass lining applied over the existing structure (the smaller section is fine). I’m seeking a professional with specific fibreglass experience—no general handymen, please. The work must be durable and watertight. The size of this section of the pond is roughly 2m x3.5m. Pond is currently full of water. Please advise whether you can include draining and drying as part of the job, or if you require it to be drained prior. Happy to discuss either option. Right now obtaining quotes for work around June.

We tried to replace the part on the pool filter however as the filter is quite old, the replacement part isn't sitting flush in its housing. Also seems like the pool pump is leaking we think it may require a replacement. Can you please let me know how much if can be repaired or replaced including all the plumbing and removal of the old stuff . Feel free to include it in your message. Hello, We’re looking for an experienced tradie who can help us to regrout, clean and replace missing pool tiles. We have spare/new tiles to be added. The work to be done is the blue tile area around the rim of the pool. It’s 8 small tiles in length down ways around the whole pool. Alternatively, if we can find someone with the right experience we could also look at taking the tiles off and completely replacing with new tiles.

We need a qualified electrician to supply & replace the battery capacitor in our pool pump. Quote amount is for labour only - will pay the electrician for the cost of the capacitor seperately (cash upon receipt). The capacitor needs to be a like-for-like replacement which has the same capacitance & voltage. Voltage is important as this is a 'run' capacitor and not just a 'start' capacitor. The size is quite thick and could maybe get the dimensions if needed. Since we are paying for the cost of the supplied capacitor, we would prefer it to be purchased from a local electrical wholesaler (so it's a reliable quality) and not from an online seller (ebay/amazon etc...) Easy access to the pump. If there are any questions then please ask.

Pool pump humming but not starting – likely capacitor Pool pump: Waterco Supatuf 1.0HP MK2 Pump powers on but only hums, does not spin and no water flow. Pump lid is seized and cannot be opened by hand. Suspect failed start capacitor or seized impeller (possibly after running dry). There's a leak on the pool pump and hence pump seal keeps getting lost. Need someone to fix the pump so can use Pool pump for party on the weekend.

Actual price can also be discussed when you assess the issue . My pool has two motors. One of them sucks down, and one of them pushes up in terms of leaves and debris in the pool. I need someone to relay my pool plumbing to (A) remove an old chlorine feeder line that is no long used, (B) to remove an old pool pump that used to dive a polaris pool cleaner, (C) to turn the old polaris inlet into another return, and (D) to replace the 2 stopper values that no longer seem to stop the water when moved to the stop water flow position. All the pipes are above ground so there is no (or very very limited) digging involved.

Hey Airtaskers! I’m reaching out regarding our pool at our rental property. We’ve had an issue with the skimmer box and poor suction from the vacuum. Instead of replacing it (as pool shop quoted a few thousand dollars), I decided to repair it myself. The skimmer box is now working perfectly, but unfortunately, something went wrong with the sand filter afterwards. Since then, I’ve let the pool go, and it’s become quite green and dirty. We just extended our lease for another two years, so I’d really love to get the pool properly fixed and maintained again. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can: • Drain, clean, and repair the pool (especially the sand filter – I suspect the issue is with the sand inside). • Then provide regular maintenance afterwards.
