I need a handyman to do the following work at my property in Mosman to bring a pool fence into compliance with Council requirements. Two small jobs: Pool gate fix – Install a vertical stainless steel rail (match the hinges in finish) - replacing the old timber one at the pool gate lock point so the gate self-closes and self-latches properly. The gate is currently slightly misaligned and doesn't latch consistently. The rail also needs to close off a gap near the latch Sandstone wall chiselling – Chisel back ledges/protrusions on a sandstone masonry wall adjacent to the pool fence. The ledges need to be reduced to under 10mm so they don't count as footholds under the pool fencing standard Photos attached showing the gate area and the sandstone wall. Need pool gate rehung. Original contractor installed post bolts into mortar rather than brick, so this post needs refixing to house brickwork properly. Gate lock also needs replacing but I have all parts necessary, including new lock.

I replaced the hinges and gate lock on a garden fence but the gate doesn't open properly. I think the issue is that I need more space between the latch and hook. The challenge I have is that I can move the gate further away becuase it is too close to the bolts that is holding the other fence on a brick wall
