I’ve just moved into a property and know nothing about pool care, so I’m looking for an experienced pool technician who can: • Do an initial clean of the pool (remove leaves, brush walls and steps, vacuum floor, empty skimmer and pump baskets). • Test and balance the water (chlorine or salt level, pH, alkalinity, stabiliser, etc.) and advise what chemicals I should keep on hand. • Check that the pump, filter and cleaner are working properly and show me how to run them (what settings to use, how long to run them each day, and how to backwash/clean the filter). • Walk me through a simple weekly checklist so I can do light maintenance myself between visits. Ongoing arrangement: • After the first visit, I’d like ongoing servicing monthly or every two months (please specify what you recommend for Brisbane’s climate and leaf load like in the photos). • Will require chemicals for first visit. • Prefer someone who is happy to explain things as they go and answer beginner questions so I can learn.

Hi there, we need my pool maintained - chemicals spread into the pool as per instructions and the bottom of the pool vacuumed. Also ideally the person has the chemicals themselves on hand - Please specify in advance with a quote with or without pool chemicals included. This will be a regular job moving forward. Instructions attached - also please mention if you can test the water and make these adjustments yourself moving forward for the 2nd, 3rd 4th jobs etc.
