We are having our gas hot water heater replaced with electric, but before that is done, we need to repair the wall behind the current gas unit while there is an opportunity. The problem is that the current gas unit is against the wall which doesn't allow access. To keep the hot water flowing, we need to temporarily relocated the unit away from the wall (as much as we can) for a few days before the unit is removed entirely.

Hi, I need someone experienced with progressive mixer taps to check my wall-mounted bathroom basin tap. The issue is that when I turn the mixer towards hot water, the water flow becomes very strong and the temperature gets very hot quickly. It is difficult to control the hot water safely and accurately, and the basin fills up very fast during normal use. I am renting, so I am looking for someone who can check if there is a practical solution without replacing the whole tap/mixer, if possible. Please let me know if you have experience with this type of progressive mixer and if you can help diagnose or adjust the issue.

My natural gas hot water heater is not working. We bought a new one and want plumber to install it.

I turned gas off for a few days, couldn't turn back on the gas hot water system.

I have a minor water leak at my hot water meter. The leak appears to be coming from the compression/union nut directly below the meter (downstream of the isolation valve). A plumber previously applied thread tape, which stopped the leak temporarily, but it has returned. I suspect the olive or fitting needs replacing/reseating. There is an old 1970’s granny flat that has been un used for years. We need a new hot water system installed in the position of the new hot water system, a new toilet cistern replaced, new tap ware installed on shower and I need the gas valve to the old oven replaced. We have a house in Greensborough that recently had a gas safety inspection. The inspection company advised that there are two issues with the hot water system that require rectification. I can turn the pilot light on, but as soon as you release it turns off
