I want it moved to the Main General Power circuit (Tariff 11) so it can be powered by my solar inverter and home battery system. Replace the heating element of the electric hot water system. When I had an electrician look at it, here's what the assessment feedback he provided was: When he tested at the job, the element resistance read high; it's getting 240V to the terminals, and the element is drawing current, which means it is working but failing intermittently. Hence, he suggests the element needs to be replaced.
