Plasterer / Experienced Handyman Needed – Sunday 1 November (Ormeau) Looking for someone experienced in plasterboard finishing to help complete some newly installed internal walls and prepare them ready for painting. I’ve already installed the plasterboard, metal corner angles and applied the initial base coats. However, some of the joins and corners need tidying up, smoothing and further finishing. I’m not experienced in plastering but managed to get a big chunk of the plastering work done, would be good to get some assistance and someone to touch up some of my work however it’s the garage so not needing it to be perfect. Work required: * Inspect and tidy up existing plasterboard joins and butt joints. * Fix any uneven or poorly finished taped joints. * Smooth out rough areas and remove excess plaster. * Apply additional plaster or topping compound where needed. * Finish external corners and feather joints into the surrounding walls. * Sand and prepare surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready finish. Materials supplied: I already have Gyprock Base Coat 45, Easy-Finish topping compound, jointing tape and basic plastering/sanding tools. Ideally, you’ll bring your own professional tools if required. Hi I am looking for someone who can put up James Hardie axon cladding to two spaces on walls. Next to doors on both sides and over door frames. Next to window on both sides under window and over window.

Looking for an experienced plasterer or handyman to repair impact damage to an internal plasterboard wall at our fitness studio in Brisbane CBD. The damaged area is approximately 15cm wide, near floor level, and feels slightly soft. Please see attached photos. The job includes: • Repairing the damaged plasterboard • Filling, sanding and priming • Matching the existing dark paint colour and sheen, and painting the repaired area • Supplying materials, protecting the gym flooring and cleaning up Please include all labour, materials and any necessary return visits in your offer. All timber skirting boards have already been removed.
