Looking for someone to complete some preparation work before the installation of a barn door. The work includes: Install a suitable beam/support for the barn door. Plaster and finish the wall around the beam. Match the existing paint colour and repaint the affected area. Fill and paint a few other holes around the house. Scope of work: 1. Patch 1 x hole in bathroom ceiling (approx. 320mm x 290mm). Requires backing timber/support and moisture-resistant board (like CSR Gyprock Aquachek or Knauf Moisture shield wet-area plasterboard). 2. Patch 2 x small holes in wall where former light switches were located (requires backing support). 3. Apply base coats, tape, flush, and sand smooth so everything is ready for priming and painting. Notes: - Existing Gyprock is 10mm thick. - Please bring all your own tools and materials (plasterboard, compounds, tape, backing timber, drop sheets). - Clean-up of gypsum dust required after sanding. The top switches in each pictures are the ones that will be removed and need patching.

I have just removed an old AC unit and need the hole fixed. Hole is roughly 68 x 45 cm I have the bricks required. Hole is approx 3.7 meters from the ground. I would like the work done ASAP for obvious reasons

Internal gyprock wall has a section cut out next to a window that needs to be filled in. External fibro cement sheet has a small hole in it that needs the same. Have materials for both.

Kids broke their towel rack. Its mainily the wall, got all the bits and bobs. It just needs fixing.

Hi I am looking for plastering to install new plasterboard ok ceiling I have the sheets ready including frames . My plasterer isn’t feeling I need to get the job done asap

I’m needing this plastering finished as soon as possible. I’ve had two handymen mates both start, but because they’re trying to work outside their full time jobs it’s just taking forever, and I really need it finished before Christmas lol. I’ve got most of the materials (not a mixer though!) Plaster tape, knives, trowels, gyprock, adhesive etc. what I don’t have is someone to finish this job 😂 I’m happy with an hourly rate (reflected in my offer price) but also fine if you’d like to do a set price for the job.
