I’m looking for an experienced handyman to cover the exposed red brickwork to the ceiling at the top of an existing internal wall using Gyprock/plasterboard. The aim is to create a neat finish that blends into the existing brick wall and meets the ceiling. Scope of work: * Supply and install Gyprock/plasterboard over the exposed RED BRICKS ONLY (NOT WHITE BRICKS) and up to ceiling (see photos). Circa 30-40cm high. * Install any necessary supports or fixings. * Finish and smooth all joins, edges and corners. * Create a neat finish where the wall meets the existing ceiling. Ideally siliconed like last AI example image * Painting not required Last image showing AI intended look I wish to achieve. Important: * I do not want to cut into or remove any part of the existing ceiling. * This is a cosmetic improvement, so it doesn’t need to be absolutely perfect. * Looking for the most cost-effective, straightforward solution. * Please include materials and labour in your quote. I would like to gyprock my lounge and cover the internal bricks which I attempted to paint, which now unfortunately they cannot be rendered smooth. The lounge room has only three sides of the internal bricks, with the wall going to our outdoor area only has two very low walls. We also have a bar in the lounge which you can see in the photos that would also need to be covered and has a slight curve. Wanting the job done as soon as possible.

I need an approximately 15 cm impact hole repaired in an internal plasterboard bedroom wall in Jolimont. There are cracks extending around the damaged area and towards the door frame. The job must include cutting out the damaged section, installing backing and new plasterboard if required, repairing the surrounding cracks, taping, applying compound, sanding, priming and painting so the repair blends with the existing wall. I need to cover a wall with plasterboard. As it’s a rented space it would be good if it could be easily removed. I don’t like that people can see in. The wall is standard 2500mm high and 4360mm wide. I would want an option of painted and not painted (paint supplied)
