Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with decorative wall finishes, distressed plaster or textured painting to create an intentionally raw and unfinished wall effect in a small room at my barbershop in Mosman Park. The room is approximately 3.5m x 3.25m and the existing walls are currently painted white. I want the walls to look old, imperfect and deliberately unfinished, similar to the reference photos attached. The overall colour should remain very light, using off-white, cream and very light grey tones. I’m looking for visible patching, scraping, rough plaster marks, uneven tones and exposed-looking underlayers. I DO NOT want a smooth concrete-effect wall, polished Venetian plaster or simply light grey painted walls. The desired look is an old, distressed European/French industrial interior with raw, aged plaster walls. I will attach reference photos showing the exact style I’m trying to achieve. Please only apply if you are confident you can recreate this type of finish. Photos of similar previous work would be appreciated. I am happy for the tasker to recommend and supply the appropriate materials/products required to achieve the reference finish. Please specify in your offer whether materials are included or will be charged separately.

The brackets are to support a curtain rod. The instructions contemplate three scenarios : 1. Fixing to wooden walls 2.Fixing to brick or concrete walls 3. Fixing to plasterboard or other. My job is in category three.

Need a plasterer to patch and repair several small wall areas before kitchen installation. Work includes: - Covering an old round exhaust fan hole (approx. 250mm) – no need for perfect finish, as cabinets will cover most of it - Filling in electrical chases and small cut-outs from recent wiring - Skimming and blending a few wall edges where walls were opened up - General touch-ups so the surface is smooth and ready for painting All materials and tools to be supplied. I’d like this area covered in preparation for a new roof-mounted unit. The inside needs to be finished flush, but the outside doesn’t need to match the existing boards exactly (it can be flat instead). This isn’t a visible area, so appearance is less important than functionality. We just had downlights installed and need the old light holes to be gyprock/patched up. Approx 11 holes in total. Material to be supplied by you. Needs to be done asap prior to painting. Thanks :)

Cut through gyprock wall to access storage space. Frame the opening in timber. Hang door and secure shut with a magnetic latch. Opening size is approximately 600mm wide by 1000mm high. Job will require removal of approximately 3 skirting tiles. No painting needed.

Re-plaster laundry room from floor to ceiling.

Need a man hole edge put in and plaster fitted to the man hole. Can reach with step ladder in garage.

Remove cornice and re-plaster roof or square set. Unsure how roof will look after removing cornice. Preparing bathroom for upcoming renovation which will include floor to ceiling tiles.

4 walls 3m x 3m x 2.5m high with ceiling. Build 2 walls to enclose toilet at 1.8m x 1.2m to ceiling, include cavity slide door. Build 2 nib walls for vanity .5m deep. Build platform for a 1.7m long bathtub .5m high. - Due date: Flexible

We have a small section of wall 1000 x 40mm that needs to be plastered for painting - Due date: Needs to be done on Tuesday, December 6, 2022

Plastering and painting over a number of minor cracks in multiple walls throughout the house - just aesthetic cracks as far as I am aware as they’re all very thin. Also, ceiling cornice in 1x room that has cracked along one side and needs to be filled. Larger defect in kitchen wall needs to be filled and painted over - where the old air conditioning control unit was. I will attach some photos. - Due date: Before Saturday, 15 October 2022
