Jeep patriot 2013 Had since 40km bought in 2017 Now sitting at 155k km Latest fixes were throttle body and belt tensioner. However the original error code that car in limp mode in September was never addressed and oultayed all this repair costs due to poor communication and runabout from previous mechanic.so I need a no BS approach. I've seemed to address air leak around the exhaust manifold. Still drives but have been kicking the can down road so to speak due to not having alot of available to funds especially for a fix somewhere else. I'm prepared to pay for repairs but I'm more so looking for guidance potential is this something worth tackling myself I've only changed few basic things so much experience but if it s viable work out something where I can learn how to fix this. What parts I need and how likely is this is something minor and just involving carefully navigating the repairs as the position and the time it takes to get into replace something like a gasket is cheap on parts but it's going to be a task to get into it... So currently I'm seting 75 just get a call out visit and then go from there.. Ideally I'm looking to tackle ibbt I need seasoned eyes and a reality check if this more involved. End of the day I've just had the run about a could use my just a honest reliable person who an fix but could also provide guidance if potential is there to diy.. Photo is of a bolt that I noticed missing no I imagine it's what may have caused the leak.. so it's potentially small fix? How did mechanic not pick up in that had also not sat right me... So now I'm keen to get to the bottom of it.

Need experienced mechanic service 2 cars – must follow exact oil change method. Oil and filters Supplied Description: Looking for someone to do an oil and filter service on 2 cars. This is not just a normal quick oil change. I want the job done exactly to a specific method step by step, so I need someone who is careful, patient, mechanically minded, and happy to follow instructions properly. Please only apply if you’re confident doing the below exactly as requested: Required oil change procedure: 1. Start with the engine completely cold. 2. Add about 1 litre / 1 quart of fresh oil to the existing oil as a pre-flush. 3. Start engine and let it idle for exactly 5 minutes. 4. Turn engine off and wait 10 minutes. 5. Then drive the car 10–15 minutes to full operating temperature. 6. Park on level ground, let it idle 2 more minutes, then drain the oil immediately while hot. 7. After the first drain, leave it for 30 minutes, then remove the drain plug again and do a second drain. 8. Fit new oil filter, but pre-fill the filter to about 60–70% with fresh oil first. 9. Apply a thin film of oil to the rubber gasket and hand tighten only. 10. Refill engine slowly with about 80% of oil capacity first. 11. Wait 5 minutes, then top up slowly in small amounts, checking the dipstick each time. 12. Final oil level should be around halfway between low and full, not overfilled. 13. After refilling, do not start the engine straight away. 14. Turn ignition on without starting, wait 10 seconds, then turn it off. 15. Repeat that 3 times. 16. Then start engine and let it idle for exactly 3 minutes without touching the accelerator. 17. Check for oil leaks around drain plug and filter. 18. Turn engine off, wait 2 minutes, then re-check oil level and top up if needed. Must Have • has experience servicing cars, or is very mechanically capable • has their own tools • works cleanly and carefully • is happy to follow this exact process, not their usual rushed method
