I’m looking for a mechanic or experienced DIY auto tech to inspect and repair a vacuum leak on my 2011 VW Golf Mk6 2.0 TDI DSG Symptoms: • Slightly high idle (just under 1000 rpm) • Brake pedal feels hard at times • Pedal does sink when engine starts, so vacuum pump/booster appear to be working Likely causes (already diagnosed): • Brake booster vacuum hose • One-way check valve • Possible brittle or cracked small vacuum lines What I’m after: • Inspection of vacuum lines • Replacement of faulty hose/check valve if needed • Happy to supply parts if required, or pay for parts separately Car is located in bexley Looking for someone who’s familiar with VW / Audi TDIs preferred.
