Have a 2007 Hilux sr5 that had aftermarket head unit and cameras. After trying to replace the head unit cameras aren’t working and a/c and fan for air con isn’t working either. Looking for someone to fix issue (assume it’s wiring or blown fuse) and finalise install.

Looking for a qualified mechanic or experienced auto electrician to diagnose and repair a starting issue on my 2007 Toyota Hilux Workmate 2WD petrol. The car recently stopped running after losing power while driving. It needed a jump start and then drove about 2km before the radio and electronics started cutting out and the vehicle lost power and stalled. A brand new battery has been installed but it still won’t start properly. I suspect it may be a faulty alternator, but I would like someone to confirm the issue and replace the alternator or fuel pump if required.

I got an essgoo head unit and I have basically wired it all up but it doesn’t turn off when the car turns off and also can’t get the stock reverse camera to work either I have bought all the wiring adaptors (had to purchase a new one as I accidentally set the last one on fire installing it) and it has a canbus. I just don’t know where i am going wrong and also too scared now to mess around with it. I killed the battery in my car as well so it’s been a pretty expensive mission so far! I also have some tweeters and 6inch speakers I wanna swap out for the stock speakers. I am located on the Gold Coast.
