Mazda CX5 -GT with Bose system. I’ve purchased a Sony XAV AX4000 have the patchlead, pac RP4-MZ11 just waiting on the fascia kit and dash cam. This is my second time posting as I’ve added the dash cam. I’m unsure if my speakers are broken but if they are I’ve purchased a second set to install. Need a hand installing the kit, and the new speakers if necessary. I’d like to speak to the installer to check if I have the right gear before.

I got an essgoo head unit and I have basically wired it all up but it doesn’t turn off when the car turns off and also can’t get the stock reverse camera to work either I have bought all the wiring adaptors (had to purchase a new one as I accidentally set the last one on fire installing it) and it has a canbus. I just don’t know where i am going wrong and also too scared now to mess around with it. I killed the battery in my car as well so it’s been a pretty expensive mission so far! I also have some tweeters and 6inch speakers I wanna swap out for the stock speakers. I am located on the Gold Coast.
