I've had a large gum tree cut down and have the trunk in pieces ranging from 600ml to 300 ml. I want to use the individual logs for landscaping in the yard but they aren't necessarily at the height that I want and I don't have a chainsaw. Roughly 10 logs to cut to size.

I have a sloping property in stafford Heights region which I'd like to plant up (its predominantly turf at the moment). I don't anticipate any retaining walls but just some good ideas on plants which work with each other that will thrive on this block. Don't necessarily want a detailed design, but a meeting with a suitably experienced and qualified landscaper/horticulturalist would be beneficial.
