There is a large 13kVA backup diesel generator installed at our house, but it is not required and we would like to have it removed. The generator was last started a couple of months ago so we expect it works, although we do not use it at all. It is in a coastal location and therefore has rust on the casing as you can see in the attached photos. You may keep the generator for repair or salvage and we would like to have the salvage value reflected in this deal. I am not an expert with this equipment but I expect this task will include the following steps at a minimum: 1. Disconnect the generator from the house electricals and restore the house electricals to normal operation. This will require a licensed electrician. I may be able to arrange this separately if that helps. 2. De-install the generator. 3. Remove the generator. A truck-mounted crane is likely to be required.
