Hi, Looking for a handyman/carpenter to trim the bottom of an internal door by approx. 5–10mm to increase clearance. The issue is caused by aircon pressure (room becomes negative pressure when door is closed). The goal is to improve airflow. Scope: - Remove door - Trim bottom neatly - Reinstall and ensure smooth operation Note: If the initial trim does not resolve the issue (i.e. clearance still not enough), a second trim may be required. Each of six doors need shortening to accommodate a new carpet. Each door to be taken off its hinges and shortened at the base by 20mm then refitted to the existing hinges. This work can be carried out on the balcony (see image) or taken down to the basement in the lift and the work be completed there. The two doors to the linen closet are a polyurethane finish, all others are stained or painted and will be repainted after this work has been completed.

We have an internal bathroom door handle that has broken and needs fixing or replacing. The latch spring is too far out and the handles don’t move the latch in and out. Also: - tighten two other internal door handles (not broken but loose) - supply and install cover for wires below tv (old tv was a different size) - supply and install weather strip to front door.
